Crowdscape™ featured in Japanese design magazine
The product that I helped develop in November's 48 Hour Design Challenge in Tokyo has been featured in the January issue of Nikkei Design, a monthly publication that covers all areas of design. Crowdscape™ is an intelligent crowd management system that uses remotely controlled, modular LED floor and wall tiles to manage large crowds in public spaces and guide them away from danger. In the competition it was awarded the prize for "Best Technology". The team was led by Hazel MacMillan from brand consultancy Wolff Olins and included designers from Toyota, Uchida furniture and Fuji-Xerox.
